The Association of Academic Support Educators (AASE) is a non-profit 501(c)(3), membership organization for law school academic success professionals.

AASE’s central aim is to support the professional development of academic success educators, who work to ensure legal education is accessible to all students.

More specifically, AASE seeks to provide:

  • The opportunity to collaborate and work collectively to develop and implement research-based teaching methods and design programs that enhance student learning to enable students to succeed in law school, on the bar exam, and in the practice of law.
  • A community that supports and encourages the scholarly exchange of ideas, including traditional legal scholarship devoted to improving legal education. AASE also seeks to raise awareness of issues affecting law school academic support professionals to other constituencies and law school-related organizations.

We foster and promote the professional development of our Members

This will, in turn, enable and encourage research-based teaching methods that help law students excel — including graduating, passing the bar, and practicing law.
