The Association of Academic Support Educators (AASE) is thrilled to announce that our 13th Annual Conference will be held in person at the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, from May 19–21, 2026. We’re returning to Las Vegas, home of AASE’s inaugural conference, for three energizing days designed to elevate our teaching, our scholarship, and our students.

This year’s theme, “High Stakes, Big Impact,” reflects the moment we’re in as academic support, bar preparation, and student-success professionals. Across legal education, the stakes are higher than ever: new licensure pathways, shifting admissions landscapes, learning science breakthroughs, and persistent equity gaps. Together, we’ll focus on the big-impact strategies that move the needle; data-informed pedagogy, inclusive design, bar success innovations, wellness and belonging frameworks, and institution-level change efforts grounded in evidence and collaboration.

Our host, Boyd Law at UNLV, offers a modern, welcoming setting for learning and connection, with purpose-built spaces including courtroom, auditorium, and flexible classrooms, ideal for interactive plenaries, workshops, and scholarly exchanges.

Attendees can expect a program that balances practical takeaways with scholarly rigor. Sessions will spotlight classroom-tested techniques, assessment and analytics, bar exam and licensure updates, academic coaching and skills development, and leadership topics. In addition to peer-reviewed presentations and panels, in the past we have featured lightning talks, roundtables, and collaborative “studio” sessions, which we hope to replicate where you’ll leave with ready-to-deploy materials for your students and teams. As always, AASE’s annual meeting emphasizes collegiality and openness. Every voice is welcome, and everyone leaves with ideas they can implement immediately.

We’re also excited to showcase scholarship supported through the AccessLex | AASE Faculty Scholarship Grant, with awardees sharing works-in-progress and findings that inform student success, academic support practice, and legal education policy.

Whether you’re an academic support newcomer or a seasoned professional, AASE 2026 is your space to connect, share, and recharge. Come ready to trade ideas, build collaborations, and shape the future of student success and bar readiness. In a year of “High Stakes, Big Impact,” we’ll meet the moment, together.

Dates: May 19–21, 2026 • Location: William S. Boyd School of Law, UNLV, Las Vegas, NV.
